This agreement is between you and Brainoid Technologies Ltd (“we”). It covers Brainoid IO 0.0.1 and any other alpha version of Brainoid IO we give you, under this or any other name, including its earlier name, Brainoid Local (“the alpha”). By asking for, installing or using the alpha, you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the alpha.
What the alpha is
The alpha is an early, unfinished version of Brainoid IO that we share with a limited number of testers to find problems before a wider release. It contains unresolved bugs, both known and unknown. Features may be missing or incomplete, may not work as this website describes Brainoid IO, and may change or be removed without notice.
No guarantees
The alpha is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we give no guarantee, warranty or condition of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that the alpha will work, be free of errors, be secure, keep your data safe, stay available, or be fit for any purpose.
Your risk
- You use the alpha at your own risk.
- Back up anything you cannot afford to lose before you install it.
- Do not use it for anything critical: not for the only copy of important information, and not for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
- Check anything it produces before you rely on it. AI models can be wrong.
- You are responsible for what you ask the alpha, and any AI agent in it, to do.
No responsibility for loss
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that arises from the alpha or from using it, including risks that no one intended or foresaw. This includes loss or corruption of data; damage to your computer, its software or other devices; loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity or goodwill; and any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
A limited, temporary alpha
Places are limited, and we choose who receives the alpha. Your download link is personal: do not share it, or the installer, with anyone. We may change, pause or end the alpha, or your access to it, at any time and without notice, and the alpha may stop working when it ends.
Feedback
If you send us feedback, ideas or bug reports, you allow us to use them to improve our products, without payment or any other obligation to you. Please leave out other people's confidential or personal information.
The terms, the licence and your information
Our Terms and Conditions and Brainoid IO's licence also apply to the alpha; where they differ from this agreement, this agreement applies to the alpha. How we use the information in your request is described in our privacy notice.
Who can join
You must be 18 or older to join the alpha.
Law
This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update this agreement for later alpha versions. When we do, the date at the top changes; your request email names the version you accepted. Questions: contact@own-your-intelligence.com.
